I was honoured to photograph the first annual Feast in the Forest an evening to support Mossom Creek Hatchery. The evening was a success filled with great food, smiles and an educational nature walk.

If you were a guest you will be able to view and download photos from the online gallery here: https://lindamccaguephotography.zenfolio.com/feastintheforest

It’s Thursday, so I’m adding a “Throw Back Thursday” post. This video is from an engagement session I photographed in 2011. I’m not sure I actually ever shared this on the blog! My industry friend Wayne Lam was starting out with his now very successful video portion of his business and he offered to showcase one of my engagement sessions. It’s a quick look into an engagement session if you haven’t ever done one! You’ll see some video of the session along with a few of the still photos I took at corresponding points. (Note that it shows my studio name as Westside Photography as it was created before I became Linda McCague Photography in 2012).

Here’s a link to the original blog post for their engagement session: Michelle & Duncan’s Engagement Blog Post

How cute! Now starting in 2016 you will received all of your high resolution edited images on USB with the delivery of your wedding album! I’ve found the cutest little “Message in a Bottle” USB drives for you. The cork stopper has a functional 8GB USB with a cute little glass bottle. This one shown below I’ve put the name and wedding date of the bride and groom on a little paper scroll inside! How fun!

I’m going to preempt with a note: I have many, many weddings I still need to blog. I posted before about having a beautiful baby girl not too long ago. I never really took a maternity leave (and continued shooting weddings up until the week before she was born and then again 4 weeks later), but I did neglect my blogging and online presence for a long time. I will catch up, so if you see weddings being posted out of season… this is why!

I really enjoy learning about and photographing different cultures. I was so thrilled when S & D trusted me to photograph their Zoroastrian wedding even though I had never shot one before. I have photographed at the Fraser River Lodge many times. It was a beautiful day for a wedding at their picturesque venue. Enjoy the photos!
