Megan and Derek were married yesterday at the Celebration Pavilion in Queen Elizabeth Park. Megan has already texted me looking for a sneak peek. Of course I am thrilled to oblige! It was such a beautiful day yesterday in every possible way.

Tonight was the perfect night for engagement photos. The sun was warm and yellow as it set. I had such a great time with Kirstin and Clay. They were open to a lot of ideas and not afraid to get down on the grass or into some bushes even though Kirstin was wearing a beautiful delicate dress.  I think you’ll agree that the results were worth it!

They are getting married at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort this August. It’s going to be great!

Well I’ve been MIA on the blog for quite some time now. I’ve been busy shooting wedding, other sessions and having a baby! I went through a whole pregnancy and now have a 7 month old baby girl! I didn’t really get much of a break as she arrived 3 weeks before her due date and I had photographed a wedding 2 weeks before this. The next wedding was a November wedding 8 weeks later. I promise to post some beautiful pictures of her. I also promise to update my blog the best I can going back to weddings and events that I missed posting (all of 2014!) as they were photographed. This still might take a while with the little one that wants to be held ALL the time.

Allie and Cory’s beautiful wedding was only yesterday! It was such a beautiful day! The sun was shining and it was a joyous occasion. The bride and groom chose to hire me only for short 3 hour coverage to capture a bit of getting ready, ceremony and pictures afterwards. It was a pleasure to meet such a lovely couple. Enjoy the photos!

Rina and Justin were married June 8 at Como Lake United Church with reception at Kirin Restaurant in Richmond. They decided to do photos nearby at the always lovely Minoru Chapel. I love the Minoru Chapel and grounds (I was married there 13 years ago this summer!). Shortly after the wedding Rina and Justin headed to China to have a 2nd ceremony with family that couldn’t travel to Canada. Congratulations to you both!

Jane and Matt were the first wedding of the summer (June 1). It was an amazingly beautiful day for them being surrounded with friends, family and love. They shared an intimate first look down a small path at Crescent Beach. Then fun photos before the heat melted everyone away and lastly the ceremony and reception at Morgan Creek Golf Course.

Congratulations!
