Jordon + Grace = Wedding

Jordon and Grace were married on Saturday outdoors at the Stanley Park Tea House. Again, what a beautiful day it turned out to be! With all the rain we’ve been having lately I feel so blessed that my wedding days have been sunny! Grace got ready at the Granville Island Hotel surrounded by her friends and family. Stanley Park and Granville Island are two of Jordon and Grace’s favourite places, so very fitting for their wedding. We had also done engagement photos in both places too. Before heading to the ceremony we grabbed a few shots of the beautiful bride around Granville Island.

A shout out to Sarah from Silver Lamb Studios for 2nd shooting with me. Thanks Sarah!

The boys managed to squeeze in a street hockey game before leaving for the wedding.

A fun ceremony that included laughter.

The ceremony also included handfasting.

Rich Bride Poor Bride WEdding

Last Fall I had the pleasure of 2nd shooting Sukhi and Gurj’s wedding with my friend Rupi Kambo from Studio Orange. This wedding will be aired on Rich Bride Poor Bride on June 28, 2010 @ 6:00pm on SLICE.  Tune in for it!!!!! It was an amazing day full of class and fun. A neat side note was when I was at the grooms house and met him and his family. I realized that I had known his sister since elementary school. I don’t know if I’ll even be on the show as they don’t usually highlight the photographer(s), but you never know.

Here’s a few pics from the day (photos were taken inside the Vancouver Art Gallery) …

One showing some of the TV crew.

Jackie + Stephen = Wedding

Jackie and Stephen were married yesterday at the West Point Grey Baptist Church. Early in the morning there was some rain, so I toted my white wedding umbrellas just in case. However, the day ended up being so beautiful and hot that I actually got sunburned. The ceremony was warm and heartfelt with several songs being sung by family and friends. The outdoor reception on the church lawn was one of the cutest ones I have ever seen. May God bless your marriage Jackie and Stephen!

The necklace given to Jackie during the Chinese Tea Ceremony by her 94 year old grandmother.

Jackie wanted one by the flag pole at UBC because she is Canadian!

Jordon + Grace = Engagement Session

Jordon and Grace booked over a year ago. Their wedding is now just around the corner. I did an engagement session with them last May and another session yesterday! The first session was at Stanley Park and yesterday’s was more urban at Granville Island. The last pic in this post is from the session last year. In June they’re getting married at the Stanley Park Tea House. Can’t wait!!

They LOVE strawberries! Mmmmmmmmmm

A little more shopping in the market.

From their first session last May.

Zarah + Jeremy = Engaged

Zarah and Jeremy are a wonderful fun couple that will be married this August at Chateau Cargil. For their engagement session they chose a few meaningful spots to them in Stanley Park. Their children came along and we did a few family shots as well. Jeremy is also a photo bug, so their daughter snapped some pics for him with his DSLR.
