Featured Again! Sash and Satin Wedding Blog

I’m excited to announce that I’ve once again been featured on Sash and Satin’s wedding blog. They found Jesse and Carrie’s wedding on my blog and loved the fact that is was a gorgeous farm wedding filled with lots of scrumptious details and a beautiful couple! Louisa and Steve – Inn at the Quay Wedding

Louisa and Steve were married at the end of June. This past June was one of the rainiest we’ve had in a number of years. Louisa was a true trooper and determined bride. Rain was certainly not going to stop her from getting the pictures she wanted on her wedding day.

The preparations began at Louisa’s parents home in Coquitlam. Followed by the ceremony at the Fairview Presbyterian Church. As we had several RCMP officers in the wedding party the portraits started off at the RCMP building and then we headed to nearby Queen Elizabeth Park. We finally arrived at the reception which was held at the Inn at the Quay in New Westminster after having a bit of driving time with the heater on full blast to try and dry out.

Louisa’s purple umbrellas mixed with my set of white allowed us to head outdoors and enjoy the weather!

Ken, Shannon and the Kids – Milner Chapel Wedding

Ken and Shannon we married a couple weeks ago at the charming Milner Chapel in Langley. It was a beatuiful rainy day that joined two families into one. The ceremony was so sweet as the entire wedding party consisted of both Shannon and Ken’s children. I love how they covered their eyes when it was time for the kiss! So cute!

There was sun right up until we arrived at Sendall Gardens for photos. Then the rain came, but that didn’t stop us from getting some great photos outdoors with the help of some umbrellas, undercover areas and a few indoors as well.

The dinner and dancing went on until well past the kids bedtime at the Sonoma Grill also in Langley.

Kirsten and Jason | Centennial Lodge Wedding

Kirsten and Jason were married last weekend at the Centennial Lodge located in the heart of Queens Park. It was the one beautiful day in between all the other the rainy ones we’ve been having this June. Photos were important to Jason and Kirsten, so they decided to see each other before the wedding and head out to several locations for lots of photos with ample time before the wedding! Just what I LOVE! We started out at Rocky Point Park, then to Burnaby Mountain and finished off in the alleyways of New Westminster for a few edgier pics.

A huge congratulations to you both!

Louisa and Steve | Engagement Session

Lousia and Steve decided to do their engagement photos at a tiny little spot called Margaret Pigott Park near Jericho Beach. It was a great little spot without too many people and a gorgeous view. Congrats Louisa and Steve! I’m looking forward to your wedding coming up soon at the end of June!

PS Doesn’t Louisa have the most beautiful hair? Maybe I’m partial being a red head too!
